Delete account

You can delete your Ballonpost account yourself at any time. It is then gone immediately and for good.

In the app

  1. Open Ballonpost and tap Profile at the bottom.
  2. Scroll all the way down and choose Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm and tap Delete account for good.

What is deleted

  • your account with email address, name, year of birth and home port
  • all balloons you sent, with text, photos, voice messages and videos, also for the recipients
  • your contacts, invitations, stamps, your helium and the device registrations for notifications

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. Only reports about content and blocks are kept as long as necessary to prevent abuse; statutory retention periods remain unaffected. Server logs that are not linked to your account are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Without access to the app

Write to info@akkubooster.de from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete account”. We delete your account within 30 days and confirm it by email. More in the privacy policy.
